Default Interchangeable Steering Wheels?

I have a 2010 XLT with the Tan Cloth interior. At some point in the future I am planning on Re upholstering the seats with a Black Leather CatZkins kit. My original steering wheel is the gray foam rubber OEM material, and is already starting to degrade in a few places.

My question is this, are the steering wheels from other turcks/trim levels interchangable? I would love to put a black leather wheel from a 09 or 10 platinum on, but with the airbag and all the in-wheel controls im not sure if its really feasable or do able. If anybody has any knowledge or experience with this let me know!

I saw a post a while back about someone putting the platinum steering wheel in their truck. I think it said that it was plug and play. You can get them pretty cheap. I've seen them on eBay.
This place is in Canada, but they have a 2011 Harley Steering wheel for $125

Default Raptor Wheel on FX4

I've just ordered a new Raptor steering wheel to be mounted on my 2013 FX4.

There's a couple of threads on the forum about doing this swap.

From what I've read, the steering wheel buttons/switches and airbag will transfer along with the wiring harness.

I'll post my experience in doing this project in my "2013 FX4: Work in Progress" thread.

Here's a picture of the Raptor wheel and the stock FX4 wheel.

Good luck in finding the wheel you want!

Yeah I have found some guys that have switched to the raptor wheel. My decision has been made, I am going that direction for sure. My question now; Where is everybody ordering these from?

Will the Raptor steering wheel be plug and play for the XLT? I see in the picture above that it has some extra buttons on the left side which I'm guessing are to navigate through the evic display menu.

What's the difference in the FX4 and raptor steering wheels other than the red stripe?

They have the bumps at 10 and 2. For better grip. It looks kinda cool.

The wife's Lincoln has the bumps.

Most modern defensive driving schools teach you to hold the wheel at 8 and 4 instead of 10 and 2.

That way it's almost impossible to oversteer.
