Default Installled carriage works front bumper grill to fill the front hole...

It's a nice quality item but not sure if it really matches with the Lariat diamond chrome grill above it.

It doesn't match, but it looks better than if it were empty. You can find some mesh material online to match. I've seem some similar material on amazon when looking for mesh for another project. The issue you may run into, is if the size of material matches your lariat grille mesh.

It does look better with something there over nothing at all.

I have some spare pieces of aluminum that I'm looking to make my own for my xlt, and paint it black to make it blend in to the bumper some more.

As an update, after several months of not really liking how the insert didn't match the grille, I took it out and installed these PIAA lights. Like it much better.

Now anyone want to buy my grille ?

OK, now your making me wish I would have bought the Lariat. The lights do look good. Great idea.

Anybody put one on an xlt yet with the wider set crossbars? I'd love to add it to my xlt just think the bars are too close together

How much for that grill? PM me with a number. The truck looks much better with the lights than with the grill.

I put the same on my XLT with the chrome Pkg grille. It really looks nice, even with the smaller bars. I would show you, but my picture program took a dump.
I found it on E-Bay for $42 shipped. Dealer wanted about $230!!
It held up pretty good through the winter too.

I have to admit, the lights do look good too.
