If your Lariat doesn't have the Lariat Plus option, then you don't have power fold mirrors.
And even if you installed the power fold mirrors, they probably wouldn't work without a lot of electrical wiring.
The mirrors will simply bolt onto the same place the stock mirrors were unbolted from, and the wiring harness will simply plug into the new mirrors with no problem. But probably they will have the same function as the stock mirrors. They won't have power fold unless you add wiring to the mirror wiring harness that will activate that function, and replace the mirror control swith on the door with the one for the power fold mirrors.
One way to check is to compare the electrical plug on the pickup to the electrical plug on the new mirror. If they don't have exactly the same number of pins in exactly the same place, then the power fold function is not going to work, even with the power fold control added to the door switch.
I went the other way. I replaced my Lariat Plus memory power fold automatic dimming mirrors with trailer tow mirrors that did not have the memory, power fold or automatic dimming built in. The wiring harness plugged in just fine, and the heated blinking and power mirror functions all work just fine. But the plugs for the memory, power fold, and automatic dimming functions were not in the plug on the tow mirrors, so those functions don't work.
Grumpy ole man with over 50 years towing experience. 2012 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew EcoBoost, 6.5' bed, Platinum White/tan, Leer 100XQ camper shell, Nomad Joey 196S TT, CarMate 7x14' enclosed cargo trailer, three other utility trailers, plus a retired 2000 Keystone Sprinter 25RKS 5er we rarely tow now. ProPride hitch on the TT. Reese Strait-Line hitch on the cargo trailer.
