Good luck, and keep us posted with your results.
Fair enough. But I actually had them working until my power line broke. I just don't get how something won't work, then does, then does not again. One way or another, these things are going to work...

I used a ratchet wrench.

Variance in voltage even in small amounts can and will cause all sorts of weird crap to happen, the BIGGEST cause is a voltage drop across a bad ground.

Get those ground wires properly secured or run extra wire from both and connect them directly to your negative battery post.

Yes, I am going to ground them up properly and hope that has been the issue the whole time. I'm just taking a step back from them a little bit and will go at it again soon. Finding a proper wrench to get to that ground will be job one because man I'm cursing the placement right now with my lack of proper tools lol.

FL5 - It may be easier to take the grounds to the battery. If you do, be sure to pass them thru the ring that the large wire on the battery goes thru.

Maybe only for a test, but not a permanent place for the ground. That would drain the battery within a day.

OK, so to test, I would hook up the power to the potisive terminal and touch the grounds to the negative and see if the lights come on?

Clamp them to the battery so you can go in to turn the lights on after they are connected, vice grips would work.

mike - What have you been smoking? The grounds are connected to ground all the time. The issue is that when you bolt something down, it may or may not be a ground due to the amount of plastic in cars/trucks these days. We are trying to be sure he has his grounds connected to ground.

Rnlcomp - Vice grips on ground OK. Not on positive though.
