Default Incentives and rebates

Right now there are two incentive programs that will reduce the price of my new truck, a $1000 customer bonus cash and a $2000 customer incentive, for a total of a $3000 rebate. These both expire on 2 Nov. Does anyone know if the rebates or incentives will be increased on 3 Nov? Should I buy the truck this weekend, or wait until next week?

There should always be a few rebates totalling around that much. Model year end rebates are usually the fattest. You can usually talk at least a thousand down from the MSRP as well.

According to the website there's $5500 in cash back right now or you can get $1000 and the promotional financing. Where are you looking at for those incentives?

Ford web site says $2000 plus $1000 for Lariat Supercrew. Will pay cash, so no financing needed. Where do you see $5500??

$5500 is for '09s. $3000 is for '10s. A bit of a gamble but I don't think the rebates will go down for '10s perhaps just stay the same after 11/2.

I ordered a 2010 three weeks ago, dealer estimated 4-5 weeks for delivery and wrote that he would honor whatever rebates were in effect at delivery. They called today and said the truck was in and wanted me to pick up tomorrow, so Oct rebates are in effect. Question is, if I wait until Tuesday, will the rebates go up? Or should I get the truck tomorrow? Dealer wants it off the lot, because everyone wants to buy it, even though it is alreasy sold to me.

No X-plan, used USAA Car Buying service, which is $600 below invoice, minus whatever rebates are in effect. If waiting two days will get me another $1000 or more in rebates, i'll do that. otherwise will drive home the new truck tomorrow.

More than likely the only reason they want it gone tomorrow is because its the 31st of the month. If it was the 1st or 10th of the month they wouldn't be so agressive. I ordered my 2010 lariat screw as well. Dealer told me 6-8 weeks and it came in 4 weeks (5th of the month). I told them I wouldn't pick it up until after the 20th of the month as I was winterizing the GT500s and had the garage all tied up for a couple weeks. They didn't have a problem with it at all. Although I suspect if it had been the end of the month I would have got more flak from them. I say wait to see if the rebates go up and hope they don't drop
