No, I shaved the factory face plate for the switches down to fit the contour of the dash piece then epoxied it in. Turned out pretty good. The first version did had the switches and panel on the outside of the dash piece but I wasn't satisfied wit the final fit and finish. So I moved it to the inside. Much better result.
