Default LED Tail light issue

I installed these taillights and a 3rd brake light as well this weekend
And I have a slight issue with them
When I turn my blinker on they work properly and completely fine, but when I press the brake while the blinker is on, my blinker begins to flash fast as of the bulbs were out or going bad
I've checked every led when on and when braking, everything checks out perfectly, can't figure this out, if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it

I read on a other thread that you have to put a resistor inline somewhere. Maybe someone else has some insight. Anyone?

Absoluteluy correct. You have to put a resistor in the circuit because LEDs draw a lot less current than your standard bulbs. This causes the relay to think one is burned out and therefore flash fast. You can also get (I believe) a relay rated for LED bulbs.

I haven't done any LED replacements yet so can't offer details, but if you search the forums there are plenty of threads on this.

Funny you mention this... My wife has a '10 Lariat and I've got a '09 FX4, they both have the same Spyder tailights. Her blinkers do the exact same thing you are explaining, but only the right side. I even changed the lights recently because one got shot out. For about three days the right side blinked normal, even with the brakes applied, then went back to blinking fast when the brakes were applied. My truck never does this.

That says it is for 250's - 550's completed by a final stage manufacturer.
