Default I swear I saw a Raptor Screw today

Heading back home from work a few hours ago, I passed it. At first I thought it was just a black raptor, but they catch my attention anyways, so I always rubberneck lol. But this one was different, it was longer and I swear it had four full size doors!

Now here's the odd thing about it, it had the regular 4x4 decals on the bed in silver like the regular black F150s come with. I'm wondering if someone had the same idea I had and dropped some serious bank on converting a regular screw with a 5.5' bed into a Raptor. I can only imagine how much that cost...gotta be close to $20k in suspension and body work. Now I know any regular Joe can get fiberglass fenders for the '04-'08 and go for the prerunner style, but this had the '09-'10 front end.

I don't know if my eyes were playing tricks on me, but I do know my vehicles and I can spot a make and model out a mile away. I live in a small town so hopefully I can catch another glimpse at it. If it is indeed what I think it was, I will most certainly shat bricks and then I will be full of jealous rage and scheming to rob a bank!

Figures, that why I didn't buy a raptor. I love the four full sized doors. I still wouldn't trade it in. Love my truck. Thats why we have an after-market.

I DID see a Raptor Screw that day! And it came from my dealership!

I read in the paper today a nice two-page spread on their speed shop, Reed Auto Design (RAD), and on the cover was a red Raptor impostor that they call RADitude. They are taking stock F150s, lifting them and putting on Raptor front ends and fenders.

They'll also take GT500s and put custom tunes and anything you can think of. They're working on a Mustang now that'll be putting out 1000hp. They have their own fabricators, body men, computer gurus, and a dyno. It said they are also hot rodding anything you bring in. They've done Challengers and Camaros, and ever 'rodded a freakin Fusion hybrid to over 300hp and are calling the package Hyperbrid.

I'm glad to know they won't void my warranty for mods!
