Default I miss my pillar grab handle badly....

Long story short...I am disabled. Ford always had a drivers side pillar grab handle up through 2012. They eliminated it in 2013 and 2014. They brought it back in 2015. I have a '14 Screw FX4 and would like to know if one from a 2012 would fit a 2014? Can't get definite answer from the dealership cuz they only go by part numbers. A handle from a 2011 may fit a 2012 but it will still carry a different part number. So I'm stuck for an answer. Any help here or even a point in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't see why not. Only snafu I see would be lack of clips underneath for the screws

Don't they bolt in directly to the metal of the pillar?
If so then he'll have to adapt it by drilling and installing c-clips for the bolts...

Pretty sure ford eliminated the handle for 2009. Youd have to get a trim piece from a 2008 or older.

Ya it was gone before 2012. I don't have one in my lariat. Wish I did though.

It would be easy to mark and drill it, then use nutserts for the handle to bolt to.

Amp research running boards make entry and exit a lot easier. When deployed they come down a little lower, almost like walking straight in.
