I Got New Tires - BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2
For 3 years, I hated every moment with the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A. I really wanted to buy new tires, however the price of tires in Alberta is inflated. I was also having some financial issues.
When I resolved my financial issues, I was able to go to the U.S. So I picked this Christmas break (2014) as the time to go on a long road trip to California. In order to go to California I had to past Oregon.
Oregon does not have any sale tax, so I walked into "America's Tire".
I asked the sale guy "What is the nicest set of tire you have in stock right now?" He responded with "We have the new BFGoodrich KO 2 for $242 a tire."
I was about to faint on the spot when i heard 242.
I was deciding between the DuraTracs and the original KO tires before hand.
The DuraTracs were $252 and it was still not aggressive enough for me.
The KO 2 are also M and S rated for Canadian weather which is a good thing. The tires are in the original size 275/65/18. Surprisingly the road noise is minimal, the F150 makes more wind noise and engine noise from the 5.0 then tire noise. The truck lost about 1.5 L per 100 km and truck ride is much better; the truck less bouncy and more firm to the ground.
Hopefully you can see the pictures.

I love them, ride and handling are improved. Waiting on some snow……
Mine have been on for 1000 ish miles. Road noise is minimal, mileage has dropped, but don't know if it is the level or tires, I suspect a combination of both.

I know this goes without saying....but post pics when done. I got my 5100's and am EXTREMELY curious to see how those fit under your truck and/or if there is rubbing of any kind.
