Default Husky floor mats

Anyone using Husky floor mats? I have a 2013 STX scab with the rubber floor and I'm thinking of getting a set for the front but I'm worried they will slide around. anyone else running these?

Thanks.

I've been using the Husky Classic's for year's...plastic that are easy to keep clean. They have grips on the bottom so the mats stay put. Only thing bad things have a tendency to slide around on them. With all the rain and mud down here they work great.

Forgot you said you have the rubber floor. Maybe someone else will chime in that can answer your question.

i assume the rubber floors don't have the post to keep mats from sliding. i have ran husky and weathertech and i think the weathertech is a much better fit. just my oppinion.

Default Husky Mats with Rubber Floors

Yes they work great. I have an '11 STX with rubber floors and spent time looking for tray style mats (that I've had great luck with in Jeeps, cars) and all of them said "not for use with rubber floors" because the rubber does not follow the contours of the floor like the carpet does so the shape of the tray is not a good fit. The Husky trays work great - they have enough corners that line up with the truck that they fit and hold in place on the rubber floor and they are flexible too. I give them two thumbs up. I only use the front - I'm using my old weathertech flat mats in the rear, but after seeing the pics above of the rear tray I might swap over to that. This is what I have for the '11 STX:

Brand Husky Liners
Model 53311
Item model number 53311
Manufacturer Part Number 53311
OEM Part Number BBVR53311

I have OEM rubber mats in my rubber floored STX. I cut the little nubs off. Yes, all of them one at a time. It helped a little, but they still move around a lot. I'm not terribly happy with them.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Husky Liners also.

OP, please let me know what you end up with and how you like them. Rubber floored trucks unite!

I have the Weathertech mats on carpet, but the passenger side doesn't have hooks so it used to slide around quite a bit. I used some Velcro type stuff for outdoor use and stuck a piece to the door sill and opposite of it on the underside of the mat. It has helped A LOT to keep that thing in place. I can only imagine it would work just as well on the rubber floor surface. I'd get a roll of it from Amazon and stick several pieces in several different spots around the mat and call it good! Clean the spot you're going to put the strip down on with some alcohol or APC and it'll stick very well. And, of course, since it's Velcro, the mats can still be removed for cleaning.
