you painted the chrome ones? did you just use an adhesion promoter? I have lots of 3m tape so i am not too worried. I will clean it really well prior to placing them on. so hopefully it will be all good.

I tried 3 times to keep them on place , even with adhesion promoter , the edges after a weeks or 2 started lifting of , so i baught abs ,scuffed them and painted them, 4 month and still looking good.

So I finished. I am not happy with the job. I failed to sand the sides of the handles so it's not smooth. I also dropped one so the paint chipped. Just not having a good day. I am thinking I might pay to have them wrapped or replace the handles with black billet. Not sure, just know that I am not happy with it. The tail gate is not bad, passable. But overall not the look I was trying to achieve. Or maybe I can find a written of black fx4 at the wreckers and get some handles that way. Oh well, I tried...
