In the time it would take to remove the old door handles, i already sprayed and mounted my stainless ones. 60$ is a small price to pay for saving the.headache. plus these are stainless, very easy to paint properly

Im surprised because SEM makes pretty good products.. but spraymax is definitely at the front of the game for top quality spray can products.. its so good that id rather just buy the can instead of setting up my spray guns and cleaning them after haha

Not at all. Plastic chrome plated pieces can be a hassle if not prepped right, but its doable. I would prep the same way as i did mine, without sanding through the chrome. Then just spray 1 or 2 light coats of adhesion promoter and go from there. I've found that if u sand through the chrome, u have a higher chance of the paint reacting to something in.the plastic itself. If i had a plastic handle like you, i wouldnt let it stop me from doing this mod!

Thanks bro. Give it a try, dont go too crazy with the sanding and im sure it will turn out fine. Just a caution tho, once u break the hardener on spray max primer and clear, u only have 2 days to use it! So make sure u have time to do your other handles or use a different clear for the test run. Good luck!

Well...I mean their clear coat. It sucks. All their other stuff is great. Best trim black on the market in my opinion.
