There should be instructions in your owners manual. I havent done it in a few years, but its as simple as pressing the lock/unlock buttons inside driver door a special "pattern".
Im not sure if the truck will recognize the frequency, but its worth a shot to try, only takes a minute.

The door locks should cycle up and down to indicate you are in learn mode.
Press any button on the new remote to program to vehicle (locks should cycle to confirm program). If you have other remotes program them at this time too.
This works on quite a few Ford vehicles, give it a try.

You have the lock and unlock the doors with the power switch on the door and cycle the key from off to run eight time ending in the run position and the doors with lock and unlock by themselves and the you can program it by pressing the lock or unlock button on the fob.

Thanks for posting this. My truck didn't have the manual when I bought it, this process works. I programmed my two spare key fobs.
Try cycling the key on/off 8 times with the 8th time ending in the on position.
