Hey man im in the middle of doing this tail light mod. How did you get the painted bezel back in without scratching the paint off. Any tips??

Looks good. Next set you do make sure to paint the outside edges where the grey backing can be seen.

dumb question...can you not bake them in the oven and remove the lens that way rather than cut the housing open?

You can not bake them. They're sonic welded together

I would almost rather cut at a 90 angle to the lenses for a cleaner seal when you throw them back together.

Any idea on how deep the cut would be? I dont want to cut to deep and destroy my tail lights.
