Its not that difficult!. Look around at which dealers are up front about offering discounts. Autotrader.com is quite useful for this. I know what you meant tho. What really p****s me off is those that advertise themselves as internet managers/sales and you send them an email about a specific truck they have listed and the only response you get is "please give us a call" WTF?? do they really think that if i can track down a stock no. I am not smart enough to decipher their phone number???. No, I want to get a sighting shot via email to see whether they deserve some more of my time or not. Dealers, this is the interwebz age, NOT the 1960s!

I must give a shout out here for Evergreen Ford in Issaquah, WA . They were upfront about the discount and rebates, even found a $750 certificate ford had for me which i didn't know about. we did the whole deal over email/phone, including giving a very decent price on my trade-in and >$10k off sticker on an FX4. (would have got an extra $1k if i had financed it) . I offered my local dealers and Ncal dealers the opportunity to get close to it and just got fed a load of BS. Meant driving 800 miles to collect but still very worthwhile and no games played when i appeared there. First class operation and a good example of how internet sales should be done

Im checking out Randalll Reed's Prestige Ford. Probably the best ford site i've ever seen, non of NJ's ford dealers have this quick *** of a site. So easy to navigate. And yea, they show everything. Im already finding xlt crewcabs cheaper then the stx supercab. Unreal f'ing real. Im contacting them about availability and if they'll work with me since im in NJ. Lets see what they say. I've got 2 months, potentially 4 if i extend my lease the maximum 2 months your allowed. So im not exactly in a rush, but i would like to get the ball rolling now rather then 2 weeks before turn in day.

I live down the street from this dealership. I have personally bought 4 trucks from them and my family has bought at least 10 more. We have bought all of them from the same saleswoman. Pm me if you would like her contact info.

I always shop around and I have never been able to find a better deal.

I bought my truck in 2013 for just under $22K. 2011 FX4 loaded w/60K miles. Added on an extended warranty for $2K. Put $2K down and financed the rest. Payments are $386 a month for 5 years. And ive already had $1300 in warranty work done with another 15k miles to go. I was 24 at the time with a near 800 credit score.Name: IMG_20131019_100457_341_zps21dfd471.jpg

I really want to fly to Texas, just go cold someday, rent a car to drive around in, find the best deal on a new one and drive back. I'm in ny, looks like everything is 5-7k cheaper down there. And they're all huge. I've never tried to contact an internet sales person, I'm to nervous to ever buy like that anyway, but I will say that I get plenty of jerked around right here at home by the local dealers. I've purchased the last three off if a great salesman, he's the manager and a co owner, cuts right to the point and has literally blown other offers right out of the water to the tune of 5-7k, every time. Bum part is.......talking to his service manager is like hitting yourself in the head with a dense rubber mallet.
Dealer just down the road has a service manager that is top notch.....but the sales dept. there is soooooo offensive I can't even consider it. Not just on the pricing, but offensive period. Ask me if I'd give them a deposit Before I test drive, be willing to make the deal Right then if they hit the right number. And I don't test drive, serious. I never have. I know what trucks feel like. And yrs I'll do the deal right now, pay for it, dun, just gimme a good price. I've tried three times in the last 15 yrs to buy new from them....just can't do it.

Not to sound incredibly offensive, but to me it looks like a lot of guys that bought used trucks, gave to much for them. IMO. Thus thread should help guys in that situation out, displaying that there are dals to be had on New trucks, If you shop hard and find a dealership that's not full force trying to rape you. That's the hard part though for sure.

I'm sticking to my(and others) belief: If you can't afford to walk in, sit down, and pay cash, You REALLY should not be looking at vehicles with a MSRP of around 50k. I only buy vehicles every 10 years(or so) and spend the time between saving up for them. Car values drop faster than a prom dress. DON'T get caught up in the payment dance.

Never tell a salesman how much you want your note to be and do your research. Find the invoice price, and no more than $350, then subract rebates.
example
$43,000msrp

$37000 invoice
-$6000 rebates
=$31000 is the number you start negotiating with
Max i would go is $31500 for a decent deal
SIAP
