Default How much weight can you carry?

I know most trucks can carry a little more than they say, so I'm wondering how much weight have you been able to carry in your truck, and what config are you driving? I was driving a demo 2011 Lariat 150 5.0 ltr Screw with a 5.5' box. I put 1900lbs in the back today and was amazed at how little the truck really sagged. I know this is over the limit, and I only drove 6kms and carefully. My truck has the 6.5' box Screw and I think with airbags I should not have any problems carrying my camper.

How heavy is your camper?

I carried a ton of gravel twice for a landscaping project. Went real slow for about 3 miles.

Campers are different. More weight/balance issues and wind resistance issues. My empty truck weighs 6000#, the loaded camper and truck is 7600#, 100# under the GVWR.

If my wife and dog come on a camping trip, we'd be overweight.

It seems to handle ok though.
