Default How much have you spent in mods?

I was joking with my wife today [not really] that I only needed another $3500 in upgrades/mods to my truck before I would be "done" and I figure others out there have kept detailed records of what they have done, how much they have spent and what they still want to do.

Having my truck for just less than a year I have spent roughly $3950 with a big portion of that going towards my ARE cap at $2300. Here is what I still want.

Wheels and tires = $2400 estimated (thinking Duratracs and either Black Rhino or KMC wheels)

Rough Country Winch (9500# synthetic) and Hidden Mount = $700

SCT Tuner with 5 Star tunes = $400

Lets hear it!

Just over $5000. $2500 in tires and level. $1000 for X4 5* with warranty. $1500 in various accessories such as RX Can, boost bars, jw speaker fogs, boost gauge, hood visor and tow mirrors.

Raptor grille is next.

Really want to do inter cooler and down pipes. But don't really want my truck to be faster than my mustang. Lol

Around $2000 so far.

Next on my list is focal components, amp, raptor grille, folding bed cover, paint third brake light, matte grey tailgate vinyl, and maybe sunroof.

Are you planning on splitting the housing and painting the brake light? Or paint it all? I was thinking of painting around the reflective bowls just like the OEM fx4 taillights.

I'm thinking total even though I've sold some stuff. Probably around 8gs.

so far ...

$1000 - new tires
($500) - sale of my original tires
$200 - level/lift kit
$150 - level/lift kit installation
$125 - window tint
$175 - BORA wheel spacers
$50 - misc. stuff like license plate and new antenna

Grand Total - $1,200

Not bad I guess. There's really nothing more I'd prefer do since I'm not into spending serious money on audio, or LED lighting, etc. I mean, that stuff would be cool, but it really wouldn't be worth the money to me. The only thing I think I might still do is add some Rigid combo lights to my front bumper for increased night vision when off road or in really dark areas.

I guess I'm just lucky that I don't really want a real lift or new wheels or monster tires ... not having that urge (yet, at least) is netting me a lot more cash in my wallet.

Just a little over $3k of stuff that wasn't compounded into the price of the truck.
