Default Rear Defrost/Power Slider in a 2013 STX??

Has anyone performed this upgrade to an STX?? I see several other posts where people have upgraded their XLT's but I haven't seen anyone post about an STX. I removed my rear seat and the plugs are there for the window motor and defrost so I would have to assume it can be done and I would also asssume there would be a plug for the window switch behing the headliner somewhere?? I realize I will have to change out the climate control for one with the defrost button, but I have to be careful as there are many different part numbers that include the extra button but can be for multiple applications. The one I think I need is the DL3Z-19980-F which is intended for vehicles with rear defrost, as there are other part numbers that specifically say without rear defrost. Hopefully this can be done. The only other challenge, if everything else works out as I'm hoping, is where to put the window switch. It seems that all vehicles with trim levels where rear defrost is offered as an option (XLT and up) include an overhead console, which is where the switch would go. So not sure where I would put it on an STX without having to go crazy running wires. Any thoughts?

If its too much effort I may just go with a manual rear slider, but I would prefer the power slider if possible. Any bit of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, my dealer may be picking up the entire bill, so it would be no cost to me. And even if you were to DIY, these windows can be had for a reasonable price. Plus I plan on getting a new climate control anyhow as I am also in the market for a set of heated mirrors. We've been getting alot on snow around here so rear defrost would really come in handy right about now. I agree that I may not be using these features all of the time but I feel I would be more likely to use a power operated rear window vs manual, since it's a SuperCab and would be a bit out of reach.

The exploding rear window was corrected with a new part and even a newer style plug, which I have, so I'm not concerned about that. I already read through these links but thanks for providing them.

Newer windshield part number and the plug style went from round to square or the other way around I forget. In suppose they did that to prevent you from installing and older window on a newer truck.
