Truck is in my sig. How do I turn all the interior lights on at once. I just have the front map lights and the rear middle dome light. No light by the rear sliding window. Manual says to hold the dimmer button down to the right but that's not working. I'm stumped... Oh I would also know if there is a cargo lamp switch in the pickup or do I have to have a door open for the cargo light to come on?

There's 2 detents on the dimmer switch. Much like the auto up/down windows have. At least that's how my co workers '11 dimmer works.

The FORD owners manual is stumped too, says nothing about a switch. Searching "cargo lamp" produces info that it's on fuse 12, and tells you how to change the bulbs. The manual does not tell how to control the cargo/box light!

Some of this stuff that happens when you do other stuff, drives me crazy, and no mention of it in the manual makes things worse. This one is hard to figure out because when you open the door, the cargo light turns on anyway, on a timer, then shuts off on its own.

Anyway, you CAN turn on the cargo lamp (along with the interior lights) like this. To see it work without opening the door, you have to sneak up on it. Open the window, close the door and stand outside. Stick your arm thru the open window and poke the INSTRUMENTS DIMMER control.

. You have to press past the 2nd detent and HOLD for about 1 or 2 seconds. Holding down on the RIGHT side turns the lamps on, left side turns the lamps off.

2013 F150 instruments dimmer control. Press and hold RIGHT to turn on cargo light. Press and hold LEFT to turn off cargo light.

Hold dold the dimmer light for the gauges down, then reverse to turn them off! Or open a door....
