I think you have to pull the trim on both sides.

Does anyone know for sure how to get the factory 6 disc CD changer out?? I really don't want to break something!!

you can cheat remove upper rubber mat 2 7 mm screws now pop off lower trim if you have a console it pulls forward it is easier if you pull the console top off pulls up but you can leave it on.
now pop off mp3 plate 1 7 mm screw pullback on the drivers dash trim it will pull out 2 to 3 inches now pull pass side it wont move to much but will give you room to slide face trim out unplug then you can remove the head unit.
