Hi Guys:

DirtDawg I was not trying to be a smart aleck. I tried your link twice and both times it advised me as a new person to the site to go thru the registration process I described I found on the Ford Etis site.

I definitely did not find a simple site that just gave me a spot to put a VIN in and get information back. I do thank you for trying to help me.

I wrote the above post in reply to the response DirtDawg sent me that was sent to me by the Forum. After I wrote the above post I found the message from homer1959 and followed his directions.

Homer1959 and DirtDawg I tried it a third time and found the "vehicle tab" that homer1959 mentioned and there was the simple box to put my VIN into the system.

Thanks to both of you guys for your help. I could not believe how detailed the equipment list for my truck was and I now know what others were talking about on other threads when they said their trucks actually had equipment on them that the factory equipment list said they did not have. My list states I do not have electronic locking on my 4.10 rear end and I do have it.

As others have noted about their truck build date discrepancies, my Window Sticker shows a date of 01 24 14 and its actual Etis build date is 01 31 14.

Again thanks for the assistance. This is a great Forum.

I had a card that came this my manuals that had a bar code on it
and a date with exact time.

11/21/13 11:24 pm

I believe this was the build completion time. Can anyone confirm this?

The day of the week which your truck was built is very very important.

Never buy a truck built on Monday because the crew still have a hangover from the weekend.
Never buy a truck built on Tuesday because the crew is pissed off that they still have 4 more days to work.
Never buy a truck built on Wednesday because that is half way through the week and crew now have the attitude of screw it I only have a couple of days before I get the weekend off.
Never buy a truck built on Thursday because all the crew can think about is hitting the bars in a day.
Never buy a truck built on Friday because who gives a **** I am as good as off the clock.

Probably don't want to buy a truck built on the weekend either because some union boss will snuff out your whole family.

The build date on my window sticker is June 5 2014 that is my birthday I though wow cool!
Then I went to the website it says June 13 2014 which is Friday the 13th. I think I will go with the 5th.

My truck bought on Jan 5th of this year was built on 26 Nov 14 from the Kansas City plant. I find it a pleasant surprise it was produced so late into the year.

Mine says it was 08/11/2013.... that was a Sunday. I'm thinking they were building cars 7 days a week?

::EDIT:: My window sticker says 10 31 13 (Thursday). I'll have to look at my door jam sticker as well.
