Default How did you convince your wife you don't need running boards???

I want to remove running boards because it looks cleaner and higher but my wife says Absolutly not..lol ..So how did you guys with stubborn wives convince them to climb in and out?

I told my wife it's my truck and I will have it look and function how I want it to. I drive it everyday, she doesn't. If it's that big of a problem for her, we can take her car.

She has also never driven my truck either so I don't have to worry about that either.

telling my wife "it will get better gas mileage" usually gets me what I want.

Warning: she could get really hurt, and I know neither of us want that. WTBS, my wife damn near hit the deck after I cleaned them off. Slid right off the end. Now she wants them gone, cause they're "useless deathtraps." Perhaps a good polishing could fix your problem.

My wife actually convinced me to take mine off... my truck is board-less, hers still has the plastic ones... almost killed myself on them with ice buildup last weekend down in Skagway...

I just told her how it was gonna be.

When I got out of the hospital I asked her if maybe I could get the retracting kind. She is thinking about it.
