Star Trek reference. It refers to "the Kobayashi Maru Test" which is supposed to judge a leader's handling of a "no-win" scenario.
Mostly I just like to hear people guess the reference: a Japanese ship? The hot dog eating champ? The Usual Suspects? If they know the reference then I know I've found another Trekkie.

Hollow Point was my handle, back in CB radio days. We used them up in northern Maine woods, where I hunted deer with a Ruger 44 Carbine. Sig file shows the license plate I've also had for years

Ha, I wish!! Was totaled a few yrs later when I was going thru a divorce my buddy "bought" the car from me and was storing it until my divorce was final so I could get it back from him. My ex was a Customer Relations Mgr. for Ford. She called me and said the Rogue was brought into the dealer on a flatbed. She said it looked pretty bad; she called me a few min later and said the rear diff / axel assy. was missing from the car. The back qtr. got wrapped around a light pole. So it got totaled.
Called my buddy said the car is in the garage at home, couldn't be the Rogue. He left work to go check on it and sure enough it was gone. Seems his girlfriend took the car, even after he told her not to drive it, he was holding it for a friend. She couldn't handle the power and the car got away from her. She broke traction at a crosswalk on a wet morning and the rear end went sideways into a light pole and that's how the car got destroyed. At least my buddy did the right thing and threw her out.
