Default How to convince dealer to fix something?

Howdy,

I've been in a few time regarding transmission problems in my 2010 FX4. It will sometimes bang really hard when shifting on the highway. Probably happened about 10 times since December when I got it (just of 30,000KMs on now). Also shudders sometimes on acceleration. Other than that they typical crappy slow throttle response but I think that's unrelated.

Trouble just like usual is they can't replicate the problem. They say "leave overnight" but they could have it a month and still not have it happen. They keep saying "as long as it's recorded you won't have a problem down the road". Is that true? Last thing I want is multi-thousand dollars of repairs just after my warranty is done.

Have you shown them the TSB concerning the hard shifts and tranny re-flash? Doesn't sound like they are gonna show it to you!

Some dealers are better than others about Customer Service, after the sell. To me, that is the NUMBER ONE thing, and I hold them accountable.

I've had problems off and on again with my Volvo S80 T6, and the dealer has never...NEVER been able to 'replicate' an issue, but they sure can FIX it weeks/months later.....gahhhhhh.
