You know, I was thinking the same thing lol. But then again it would be limited to being aimed almost straight because of the hood. Would probably be worth it to just roof mount it

I've always though Jeeps and hummers were the only ones that could pull off big round lights in that spot personally

you're missing it.....

with it just above your wipers, it'll nail a colbalt right in the eyes.

it'll also won't mess with the areodynamics of the truck as opposed to roof mount.

Nice idea but to get full benefit, you need to either paint hood flat or vinyl wrap hood flat black. You will get a lot of reflection off the hood.

Being a jeep guy myself, I steered away from a pillar mounted lights. If you wheel one at night, you will find that they will either throw an enormous glare off of the hood, or they will illuminate all of the dust floating above your hood, almost completely blinding you. Front/bumper mounted lights are really the way to go. They can be a bit more vulnerable on the trail, but they don't create the two problems I mentioned.

crank up the wattage a bit and cook the bugs in the beam before they plaster the light LOL
