Appreciate the kudos guys, it was a fun project... I'm really quite disappointed in the color though, much more red than they appear in the pictures

I made my own too. The lights came from AutoZone, used a piece of acrylic painted black, ran the wires down the hood to the parking lamps and voila...homemade raptor lights :-)

Yes, they come in amber as well, LOL! Tractor Supply has them, and likely similar stores. That's what I used for my tailgate ID lights.

I can get them in red for you, and they are bolt LEDs, so it's a bolt with a nice led on the front of it... Very easy to install

Ordered these to replace my reddish leds from China.
