It's a Motorcraft FS-104. Takes only 5 seconds to change, just twist and pull, easiest access is from the rear.
I ordered it here:

Yes, for the ventilated seat function. The one on the driver's side was a bit weak compared to the passenger side. Changed it and it made a noticeable difference! It's a Motorcraft FS-104. I've had my '13 for almost a year and noticed that the cooling effect is quite weak even after a good 30 minute drive. I'll check out the filter and see if it affects performance if I replace it.

The new filter is white, my old one rather brown-ish. checkt it out, compare it to the one from the passenger seat and maybe swap them out to see if it makes a difference before you order one...
And now back to my intentions of this thread.
Today was transmission day, and what an interesting day it was!!
I got some inspiration from this great thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/ford-6...change-270998/
Only difference, i used a little hand pump (Pennzoil multi pump, worked great) to get 5-6 quarts out of the pan before i started to remove it. This worked so great that i could see myself using it in the future to partially change some fluid without dropping the pan!
Pan removal was a breeze too, a total of 8 to 9 quarts came out in total.. But 2 things working out good must have been asked too much and from there on the trouble started...
When inspecting the internals of the transmission, i found one of the bolts that hold everything together was sticking out about 1/4 inch! Easy fix with a torx, and since i had the wrench already there, i checked the rest of them too. There were 3 more that were not tight at all. So if you even drop the pan on yours, check those bolts!! Now to the best part of it:
The filter i got from the parts store (Power Torque FK-405) had a longer inlet pipe than the one i just pulled out the tranny. So i cleaned and inspected the pan, magnet and seal, and exchanged the filter for one with the shorter tube. Went home, threw everything together, put 6 quarts new Mercon LV in it and watched the refill video in the thread mentioned above before finishing up...
During the video i noticed that the transmission pan there looked pretty much like mine and i remembered that in the other video, he used the filter with the extended inlet pipe. Then it dawned on me... There was no yellow plug from the factory when i dropped the pan...
C R A P !!!!!!!!!!!
The last halfwit who serviced the tranny put the wrong filter in it!!! A call to the local ford dealer confirmed that my truck has the deep pan, apparently because it is a 4x4, but the guy also verified it via the vin number. Ordered the correct filter through them and will continue on friday when they get the filter...
I just hope that the last service wasn't too long ago and that there was no harm caused by the short filter...
Anyways, i will report when i get everything back together and hope that this might help someone in the future and entertain the rest of us...
