Default 2010 stx stereo problem

I have a problem with my stereo in my truck. My front left speaker cuts in and out alot. Used to be once in a while. I went out and spent 3 grand for a new audio system. All speakers were swapped and I got a new head unit. Has anyone had this happen to them and had the dealer fix the problem? I know that my warranty with the stereo is voided but im hoping that this has happened to someone and they know if its a module or a faulty connector. All the wires that I had installed are perfectly connected and all tight. And since I replaced all of it I know it has to be fords connectors or modules. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you installed a head unit and new speakers and just jumped on the Ford wiring to make the install easier, then I would have say it is a problem with the Ford wiring. With that said you should be able to run a new set of speaker wire to the front speakers pretty easy. That would most likely take care of the problem. I don't think I would waist my time trying to fix Fords wiring. Good Luck

I never cut any wires when I had my.system installed so hopefully the audio place could just cut only the wires for the front speakers

Been hearing on some peoples trucks on here, that water seems to get into the wiring. Not everyone has this problem, but I've heard of it on here.

I had this same problem with driver door speaker cutting in and out. Took my truck back to stereo shop. They said the speaker harness had water in it. They dried out the connection with a hair dryer then taped the connection extra good.

Nope not from Sirus. The connection is in the door. They make connectors that connect to your aftermarket speaker and matches up with ford harness.
