HID/Halogen vendor help
I want to throw some plug and play Hids in my truck but Unless someone can point me in the direction of a system that doesn't have to warm up, on my motorcycle I hate the way you have 30 seconds of black while high beam warms up when you switch. Does anyone have a good bulb for 8k low beam and regular halogen high beam bulb?
Tried researching but couldn't find any great sites. 👀

You don't have to wait for the OEM HIDs to warm up. Where you at in Maine? I have a set of 2013 OEM HIDs and the adapter harness that will be on the market soon.

I recently bought my 2014 in Westbrook.
No there are no good options for HID bulbs in stock halogen housings unless the halogen housings are retrofitted for HID bulbs and ballasts.
What I have are OEM HID housings, bulbs and ballasts with the adapter harness that will plug into the halogen harness to make them work.

Well they make HID's that "fit" halogen housings they just aren't technically meant for them. I may just go through my supplier for my motorcycle. However it being a single bulb for hi low the hid low halogen hi may be all he has. My victory is a two bulb hi low. I dunno spend more time in the motors then I do in the light 👍

HID bulbs in a reflector housing are just a bad idea and poor decision. HID output needs to be focused by a projector and have a cutoff to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.
What [MENTION=64411]NASSTY[/MENTION] is offering you is a HUGE performance gain in lighting output. The single HID bulb in the OEM projector has a cutoff shield that drops out of the way of the light beam when the high's are called upon. No warm up time, no halogen high beams, just lumens...and lots of them.
Please spare those coming at you and skip the HID bulb in halogen reflector buckets. I know that it's "cost effective", but it's just wrong.
