my truck is converted to a raptor. it is a 2014 crewcab fx4 420A ecoboost. i have under 5000 in all oem body panels and take off suspension including paint. i also have raptor seats and steering wheel. the only thing i still need to buy is the rear axle. but my wheel spacers work fine for now. factor in the money i git for my stock parts and ive only spent a few grand. sure i could have bought a used raptor for the same amount but i wanted a new truck and i wanted an ecoboost. everyone says oh u will never have offroad mode. well 4 lo works amazing. a new raptor was 67 grand. my truck out the door was 48.

No one that does a single thing to their vehicles need to criticize someone else's choices...we do what we like, enjoy, and what we can afford...
THAT is how it's done and THAT is the end of the story....

I'm just finishing my 14 ecoboost conversion. All I have left is the rear end. I will have far less into my brand new 14 sceb than a new raptor! whoever did the math earlier in this thread must be looking up dealer retail prices. Additionally, I will have the motor I want! Aparantly Ford agrees with me on it being a better motor. Why do you think the new raptors are going to have the ecoboost? Yep, I won't have all the electronics but face it, 99.5% they are not needed.

No reason they couldn't make a regular cab RAPTOR . . . . Look at what they did with the Tremor....
Question is . . . Would anyone buy a regular cab raptor?
