I am an Athletic Trainer and Sports Performance Coach and I have a metric boatload of gear with me at any 1 moment. Ply boxes, ropes, chains, medicine *****, weight sleds, weights etc. Organizing that load is a nightmare. I always need something that is in the front of the truck. But if I can organize and separate my gear with your DECKED system it would make gear more accessible and save me time and headache. I have looked at building my own or having one made but this would take care of that. AWESOME!!!

My wife and I compete my dogs in dog sports and it would be awesome to have a product to keep all of their gear we use for comps-kennels, tent canopies, coolers, grill, fetch toys and training set ups/rigs-separated from our luggage and all of the truck stuff I carry because I live in Northern MI and have to have recovery gear, tools, battery jump and tools

Love the idea of this product. I carry tools for my job and would love to have some dry storage. Also would be great for vacations to keep drinks for the beach. Great for when the family goes camping. Thanks for the opportunity.

2013 STX regular cab lifted

I'm pretty short so getting in and out of a lifted truck bed can get old fast. The drawers would keep all my gear easily accessible without having to jump into the bed to get something that has shifted to the back.

I mostly carry camera and music gear in my truck. (lenses tripods, guitars, half stacks, drums etc). Having lockable drawers would be great for securing expensive items in the bed instead of the cab. I love my regular cab but it does lack secure/weatherproof storage and the cab can fill up quick and won't fit everything I may want to keep safe or out of the rain. Plus using the cab for gear pretty much sacrifices any room for a passenger.

Thanks,

Anthony

Help Us Test a DECKED Truck Bed Storage System?-image-954991349.jpg

How will I use it?

I promise to beat it up. Throw stuff at it. Treat it like it stole something from me. Haul fierce sharks, lions, and tigers. Leave it uncovered for ages. Start a fire on it. Leave it in the pouring rain, snow, and sleet. Let me kids create on it. Let the dogs rough it up. These are the promises I can make.

I am interested. I am a home inspector for large national company. I currently do not have a cover. It is next on the list. This would be great for organizing tools and still have access to the ladders on top. I store my tools inside the truck right now, something like this would free up the interior of the truck. I've considered building this exact thing and then install another tonneau cover. I am interested in hearing the reviews and see how it would hold up in the rain.

I use my truck in my construction trade. I do concrete for living and carry lots of tools and misc in the back of my truck. I've actually been eye balling your system for a little while now. Thanks for the opportunity

Here is my 2013 with the 6.5' bed:

I am not going to lie and say that I will use it every day for hauling tools to work sites or any crap like that. I am just an average guy and would love to try something like this for all of the things that average guys do, including getting all of the crap out of my cab (hitch parts, toe straps, jumper cables, tie downs, etc), help friends move, stowing valuables, and maybe on occasion test out that 2,000 lb weight limit doing landscaping around our new house come spring time. I love the concept of the product...and if you want a fair an unbiased review of your product and will take feedback offered to improve the product for others, I'm your guy. Thanks.

[QUOTE=DECKED;4518947]We make a relatively new product and are looking for a forum member or two to test our truck bed storage system, review it and provide feedback to the community here at F150Forum. You can see what we make here: www.DECKED.com

Essentially this is a tonneau cover x 2. You get dry and secure storage, but also ergonomic access to your tools, gear etc as well as full use of your truck bed. 2000 lb payload on the deck, 200 lb per drawer. Made in the USA.

If you are interested in being considered to test for us, post a photo of your truck in this thread and tell us how you will use it. It isn't a beauty contest, just make your case. We will select product testers around 1/27

All we expect from our product testers in return is a fair review of the product here on the forum with a few photos. If you like it we want you to keep it.

Thanks!

2010 F150. I am a law enforcement officer on SWAT in Golden, CO. I have been looking at a solution to haul all my gear back and forth from work, on-call etc.

I'm an Air Force flyer stationed up in Alaska. I also have two kids in car seats, so I'm limited on storage in the cab when I need to keep something dry. Most of the gear I have to haul around is in bags and needs to be protected from the snow/rain/mess from the roads. I'd be hauling my flight and training gear, kids' stuff, groceries, as well as the normal truck stuff (tow straps, tools, Alaska emergency kit, etc.) in the drawers. I could see them being perfect for camping gear for family outings when we finally get a summer up here, and for protecting my flight gear. The top would be ideal for fishing poles, lumber, and the messy stuff I might want to bring to the house. I could definitely give it a solid test in the elements with a broad mix of cargo, given Alaska's opportunities and obstacles.
