Stupid question. Where exactly do you put the dynomat? Like around the back of the speakers in the door or on the inside of the door skin?

I would not waste your time/ effort/ spare dynamat if all you are replacing are 4 cheap speakers.
It is a waste.

The entire floor.

I'm not doing the Dynamat for stereo sound quality. I'm doing it for overall less noise from things like tires, engine, mechanical, wind, etc. It also gives the cab less of a "tn can" feel.

I would Dynamat something that has no stereo.

I'm doing dyno mat for sound reduction and vibration reduction due to the door skins flopping all over.

This. Dynamat will transforms your truck from "truck" to "BMW". It's much nicer to spend time in.

So are there high signals actually going to the door speakers? And if I replace the door speakers it will be the same? I guess what I'm getting at is when you put door speakers in are you running some sort of crossover/wiring thing Ford has going on or will I have 4 full range door speakers and still have the factory A-Pillar mounted tweets? So 6x8's drop right in? By any chance have links to what you are running? I'm looking for stupid simple. I have way more projects than any one person should. Thanks again! I'm going to pull the interior and Dynamat everything from the firewall to the back window too. I have three boxes left over from a project.
There are all signals going to door speakers and only highs going to tweets in A pillar. There are bass blockers inline so the tweets don't get mids and lows.

You can put in four full range speakers and they will get highs, mids , and lows while the A pillars tweets will get highs only. It will be fine and sound good.

This is the newer version of what I have.

Amazon.com : Infinity Reference 6832cf 6 x 8/5 x 7-Inch, 180-Watt High Performance 2-Way Loudspeaker (Pair) : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Infinity Reference 6832cf 6 x 8/5 x 7-Inch, 180-Watt High Performance 2-Way Loudspeaker (Pair) : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

And use these to connect them to stock wiring.

Amazon.com : Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles : Coaxial Car Speakers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles : Coaxial Car Speakers : Car Electronics

The audio section is hidden pretty good.

Also forgot, yes these just drop in stock location without modification. It will take you longer to take off door panels than it will to wire up and put these in.

I had a huge improvement over stock, stock is just a crappy paper cone that isn't even truly full range. I ran my off stock HU for about a year before I upgraded to better HU.

Is the Amazon fitness guide accurate? According to them these speakers don't fit.
