Default Help!! Headlights won't shut off

My headlights won't shut off on my 2010 F150, the light switch in the cab won't do anything either, no fog lights, no dome light on that switch, Any ideas?? Had to disconnect the battery to get the lights to shut off.

Sounds like a dealer worth hanging onto! Man, you are lucky to have them in your area...

Default Headlights won't shut off

My headlights won't turn off on my 1995 f150. I have to disconnect my battery every time I go any where. I bought a new battery thinking I had a bad cell in the old. They still won't turn off. Now I can't start my truck without a jump after I disconnect the battery.

I was trying to tie my push bar light into the fog lights, instead of having a separate switch. Old skool vehicles the switch was simply finishing a connection, didn't know about how much more complicated they are these days, the over current from the bar light(has it's own power feed) damaged the multifunction switch. cracked open the switch, took a deeper look, all components on the pcb are working, started checking pins and found the middle pin, inside row, the line was damaged, soldered in a jumper, reassembled and reinstalled, boom!! I rock
