Help with headlight adjustment
I'm trying to adjust my lights down. I read the manual and started turning the adjuster counterclockwise like it said. I started with the pass side and I turned it quite a bit and the light never went down. I moved to the drivers side to try that one and that didn't lower either. I must have hit the stop point without knowing it because I didn't feel anymore resistance and then looked inside and realized I stripped the cheap plastic screw adjuster. Anybody have any idea why the beam won't go down?
If it matters it's a 2010.

I was told that there is a special tool to adjust the head lights on the new 2010 Ford 150. But, I used a phillips screwdriver and it did the trick. I had to turn the adjustment screw a lot to lower the head lights about an inch.

I guess I'm the unlucky one here. I have to set up an appointment with the dealer because mine won't adjust at all(up or down). This f'n sucks. I also had to pull out the HIDs I put in so they wouldn't bitch.

Adjustment correction
This is one of the easiest adjustments I have ever made on any vehicle - but it's BACKWARDS! I just left my truck 5 minutes ago after reading this thread and adjusted them perfectly - but it is clockwise for DOWN and counter-clockwise for UP...just like to contribute...

Had that problem and fixed it by using a smaller screwdriver. The one i had originally used i thought was doing the trick but the shaft was just a little too thick and didn't quite touch the little gear. grabbed a thinner one from my bag and worked like a charm.
