nope, no codes at all. the engineer at SCT was dumbfounded and I am too. it just says M _ _ _ . I'll post a picture of it later. I'm going to be ditching the 5015 for a different model, I think. I don't plan on ever leaving it plugged in any longer than it takes to change tunes, I'm happy with whatever as long as I can load custom tunes. although that will be difficult as well without the code.

I just stuck a canned 87 octane tune on it until I burn through this tank of gas, then I'll switch to 93 and install my Airaid intake. I can't say it feels any faster on 87, but the shifting and throttle response are majorly improved.

no, it definitely wasn't having it. there must have been some lingering data from the last truck remaining even after I thought I had wiped it.

haha I tried my best, but apparently I still failed. I powered it up and told it to reset to factory defaults, and all of the previous owner's custom tunes did disappear when I did that, but evidently the stock file didn't change.
