Sounds like you had too much draw on battery or something possibly and if that was the case, SCT can fix that with a recovery file no problem and just make sure to either check your battery before you tune it again or have it on a trickle charger, and all the truck accessories off ( AC, radio, ect ect ) when you go to tune it.
Doesn't happen very often at all esp on newer vehicles but I have seen that few times out of the hundreds of tunes I've loaded in person.

thanks guys. I just got off the phone with him, sent him my stock file and I am waiting on a revision now.
the only thing that still has me worried is that whenever I tried flashing back to stock, or anything else, it would say turn key on, even though it was on, and when I hit continue it would just start beeping until I unplug it, then plug it back in and it does the same thing again. cycling the key while that message was up didn't change anything either.
either way, they still say they can make it happen, so I'm optimistic. should have my new tune shortly.

its fixed!
David at SCT is my hero.
it looks like it was trying to upload the stock file from the previous owner's truck, but interestingly enough my truck does not have a strategy code printed on the ECU sticker. it has M _ _ _ in place of it. the guys at SCT said they had never seen that one before... just my luck.
but regardless, they were able to put it back together and it starts, runs, drives, just fine now with no codes. what a huge weight off of my shoulders.

Glad SCT got it fixed. Note to self, don't buy a used tuner.

Obviously the SCT wasn't ready for the 14 strategy. 14 would be different than 13 EB.
