With the trucks of the last decade or so no longer offering a manual transmission, has anyone given any consideration to a five or six speed swap in a new Coyote (or even ecoboost) F150? Perhaps there just isn't enough interest from folks, and coming from an MT82 equipped Mustang, I wasn't all too impressed with that transmission, but somebody must be considering it?

Can it be done? Absolutely. The only question is which person is dumb/desperate/willing enough to throw as much money at it as it takes.

The only domestic light duty pickup you can get with a manual transmission is a Dodge with Cummins diesel.


With enough money, anything is possible though

Why would you want to. Just drive in manual mode.
