Default HELP! 2.5" level kit is not level, sits high in front

Hello all,

My brother and I installed a R/C 2.5" level on his 2013 F150 lariat. We were under the impression that this would level the truck. Instead, it has made the front sit higher than the rear. His fix is to put blocks in the rear. He is not going to stack blocks on top of the factory blocks though. A couple questions....

Will 3" R/C blocks make the truck level?
If so, will he need the shocks that come with a R/C lift kit for the rear end?
If not, what will truly level this truck?

Thank you for any and all help!

Your answer is in the math... how much higher is the front than the back?

You could go down a notch on another level kit. I never like the look of a 2.5 level in the front. I would have done an inch, maybe 1.5.

Your 2.5" level probably only gave you 2" give or take (sounds like a pinch more). No truck weighs the same, but as Martian said, measure the difference and get a block that size for the rear.

I think you need to replace the rear shocks if you are going to put blocks.
This advice is important if you are using your truck off read. Fox or Icon both are good choice.

My 2014 has 1.5" of rake, assuming your 2013 has the same amount of rake you would be 1" higher in the front now, meaning the 3" block would make you level. Like the other guy said it's all in the math.

just measure from the middle of the wheel to the bottom of the fender on all 4 sides and that will tell you how much higher it is, if the truck is 4wd you already have a 1.5" block in the rear so a 3" block will provide 1.5 " of additional lift if its a 2wd then there is no block so what ever size the block you get is is how much lift you will get, f150lifts.com sells blocks ranging from 2" to 3" anything smaller id look on eBay but i wouldn't stack blocks just get one thats already the size you need.
