Heater- cold one side and warm on the other??
I am leaving on a trip soon with a new [used ] 2010 Lariat. It didn't come with an owners manual and I have a heater problem. The heater won't blow warm air on the drivers side! No heat on defrost or any other setting for the driver. Warm air blowing on the pass side.
Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Also I have noticed on the screen with the heater turned on there is a little icon beside the Pass heat that looks like a fan. I don't see that on the drivers side, although the blower is putting out, but cold air only.

Are both temp ***** turned up. Make sure the Auto button isn't lit up, rotate the temp control ***** to the right and see what the temp says on the screen.

Thanks for help. No *****. It has the push buttons for higher or lower temp. The buttons results show on the screen. Both R and l go up to 90 degrees. I made sure the auto light stayed off.

Blender Door Motor?
Any updated to this thread? My '10 dual control started acting strange this afternoon as well. I'm wondering if it is the blender door motor. Has anyone had this problem on a later model truck? Is it a difficult fix?

Blend door motors can be a pain, just R&R one at work last week on a 2010 King Ranch. Removing the radio/HVAC controller and lowering the glove box helps. Three 7MM ( if I remember correctly, maybe 8MM) hold them on.
