Could be a shorted heated element on the seat! Best way to check is remove the lower butt seat cover.

Same drivers heated seat issue as a lot of people and I finally decided to investigate. Heating element burnt up. Cost $29 at my dealer and about an hour of my time. Good to go now, but this is clearly an issue Ford should address...

Last week my seat started burning my left leg. I would turn it to low and it was fine. As of today, I turn on the heated seat, the light turns on then immediately off. Ugh. Guess it's off to the dealer :-/

If you have Heated/Cooled seats you don't have an element. You have a blower that heats and cools in the back of the seat and blower in the bottom of the seat. I have the same issue. I have ordered a heat/cool control unit from Tasca but I'm on the road until Friday. I will install it and report bsck.
