Default Heated and cooled seats

I was wondering what people are using on their cooled and heated seats when having to clean them. These seats have holes in them and I'm assuming that this is where the cool and heat comes from. It seems that by using some type of conditioner or cleaner might clog these holes up. The manual doesn't seem to cover this topic. Or maybe I just couldn't find it. This is on a Lariat Screw. Thanks.

I'd just use water. The seats come with a factory protection so all you should need is water regardless...

Have you ever clean leather seats before??

The stuff(conditioners) blends with the leather. It is almost like a damp towel with light moisturizing cream on it.

It will not clog the holes. Another suggestion is to read and manual it might(probably does) include how to take care of your leather seats.

If you can't find anything on the manual call Ford direct or contact your dealership.

That darned owner's manual:

LEATHER SEATS
(IF EQUIPPED, EXCEPT FOR THE KING RANCH SUPERCREW)
Your leather seating surfaces have a clear, protective coating over the
leather.
For King Ranch SuperCrew leather seats, refer to separate
section in this chapter.
For routine cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. For
more thorough cleaning, wipe the surface with a mild soap and water
solution. In Canada, use Motorcraft Vinyl Cleaner (CXC-93). Dry the
area with a soft cloth.

If the leather cannot be completely cleaned using a mild soap and
water solution, the leather may be cleaned using a commercially
available cleaning product designed for automotive interiors.

Do not use household cleaning products, alcohol solutions, solvents or
cleaners intended for rubber, vinyl and plastics, or oil/petroleum-based
leather conditioners. These products may cause premature wearing of
the clear, protective coating.

Note:
In some instances, color or dye transfer can occur when wet
clothing comes in contact with leather upholstery. If this occurs, the
leather should be cleaned immediately to avoid permanent staining.

I used a damp cloth and then Meguir's leather upholstery conditioner. Works fine, doesn't plug the holes.

Vacuum the seats sometimes gets crumbs out before wiping with damp paper towel and leather conditioner as needed…

Why do people love being an ***? I guess you can't help it. And I read the manual I just wanted to see what others are using.

They're in any forum, just have to ignore them or let the moderator know if it gets out of hand. My guess is most of them still live with their moms and this is the only way they get to feel tough.

Yeah... Perhaps a bit hyper-sensitive.
