Default headlight assembly removal

I removed the 3 screw holding it in place but it doesn't want to come out. Are there extra clips or is there more screws that I'm missing?

It's a 2009 F150 XLT

No, there are only three screws. As long as you removed the correct three screws, just give it a good yank, which it needs to become free and it should come free.

The three you did were the two on top and the one on the side?

God luck.

The first time you pull it out the clip is brand new and holding strong you just have to give it a good pull. Once you pull it out once the next times will be easier.

Yes, for me, the one on the left side popped out more easily and the one on the right was a little more tight. I kind of rocked it up-down and side to side and it popped loose. The same replacing them, line up the tabs and rock...then push/tap back into place.

Also, as I tightened the screws, I used the palm of my hand to bump the assembly up tight against the frame, to ensure a nice tight fit.

The same goes for the tail light assemblies.

yep those were the ones. I just want to make sure so I don't break anything when I give it a good yank.

Thanks everyone for the info.
