Headlight Adjustment
Anyone know how many turns it takes before there is a noticeable change in the verticle position of the headlamps on a 2010 F150?
I leveled mine and want to get the headlights back where they should be. So far I've turned the adjustment wheel with a #2 phillips screwdriver 20 times counterclockwise (as the Ford manual says to do); but I can't tell that they have lowered any.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Something is not engaging (screwdriver).
A few turns, like 3 or 4 or so shows a difference as the gearing is not that fine.
I have some pics of the teeth and how they interact with screwdriver i can post later, if someone does not chime in before, but the screwdriver is not directly going into a phillips screw head recess, it is going obliquely into a gear which turns another gear.

My problem was the screwdriver not engaging on the white wheel that is down in the adjustment hole. 20 turns would definitely give you movement. I had to angle the screwdriver so the head was pressed to the white wheel and make sure it was rotating after I leveled mine. And of course I was in the dark too...

volfire brings up good points, these pics hopefully will show a little about the hole the screwdriver goes down in, and a little of the white gear teeth it engages when angled correctly. Also, if you can get to back of this thing you can just turn the big white hex part of the gear. Headlights actually come out within two minutes with three screws if you like:
