Default Have You Been Wanting Amp Retractable Steps?

If so, now is probably the time to get them. Autoplicity, a vendor on here has them for us members for $932 plus Amp Research is running a $100 rebate for the month of February. That's only $832 and then minus whatever you might get from your factory steps if you have them. Damn good deal if you ask me. Just PM Keith at Autoplicity and he will take care of you. He was great to work with for me as I just ordered mine today! Now the wait begins. As soon as they get delivered I will be installing them. Can't wait as I hate the factory steps plus I like the clean look the Amp steps give the truck.

Wow that is a good deal. I got an unused but open set for 800 shipped and thought I was doing good. $832 brand new!

The plug and play version is a little more but if you're good with wiring save yourself the $100 difference and go with the original splice version.

I am 6'3" and getting in isn't a big deal. Getting out I like to use the step so I don't break the side bolster down on my seat. My wife is 5'5" and definitely uses the steps. I think it is a great deal for something very useful. I can't wait to get them.

The oem nerfs are pretty much useless, too close in and up to be of any use other than eye candy... if that is you like them which I did but just for looks.

Knowing I would be installing a 4" lift kit made the choice to get them obvious and I wouldn't/couldn't do with out them now, I guess I could but as already mentioned sliding out is harsh on the seats not to mention having to grab the steering wheel to get in, (stupid Ford engineer's delete of driver side grab handle)

Well worth every cent, just wished I could have got in on the rebate. Have had mine now for a little while.

I here Ya but these protect Roche chips on the rockers better than stockers if you're running a semi normal offset rim and tire.

I can do fine getting in and out with my level and larger tires but my wife, kids and dog have a harder time and these allow for super easy in and out. They also give you a place to stand to clear windshield, get to roof, or front of bed as they span from the front wheel well to the rear of the cab.

They aren't for everyone but I hate the looks of the stockers as they make the truck look like crap, these give me the looks I want with added function over the stockers.

The real nice thing is these prevent the rockers constantly getting kicked and damaged because the fall lower and away from rockers vs stockers or most other aftermarkets. If you have to wear steel toe boots for work then you know what I mean. Lol
