Has Anyone Seen This Dash Warning "Service AdvanceTrac"

I have gotten pretty good at holding the turn signal lever so it will flash more than 3 times when I turn. Eventually the problem fixes itself when the system resets and the warning light goes out. My first experience was with the turn signal at about 36,000 miles. The Advance Track warning light problem has been occurring in the last 15,000 miles. My truck (2011 FX4 Boost) has 67,000 miles on it. I discussed the turn signal problem with the dealer when it first happened but since I missed the warranty by about 500 miles and it did not seem to be a safety issue I declined to turn it over to them.

Update!!
I have a 2011 F150 xlt - 5.0 - Supercab. At about 35k the Service AdvanceTrac light came on. So with the Warranty soon to expire I made an appointment to get it checked out. The AdvanceTrac light was not activated when I took it in. They told me that they could not get it to activate again and sent me on my way. Now a few months later - it comes on daily. When It does come on I have no directionals - I have to hold the directional lever down to get them to blink. On 4/28 I called the Service desk and inquired about getting it fixed and since I had brought it in before the warranty expired would it be covered? The reply was no. Whether I brought it in before the warranty expired makes no difference. Now heres is where it gets interesting - They have no record of my vehicle being there for that issue. So even if they had a record it wasn't going to be covered. Believe me folks I don't drive to Columbus Wisconsin in the middle of winter for nothing. Now I need to say that I have no paper work my self and can't even tell you the exact date. I also made a call to my salesman - "Sorry I can't help you - You will have to work with Service people". All my service work has been done there. Not any more - never again. So I took it to a independent. Here is want I found out after he did a Code check. Code C1B00. Looks like it is the Steering Control Module. I just thought I would share this info to anyone having the same issues and save you the $99.00 diagnostic test charge that I was quoted. Hope this helps.

This thread has me super nervous as I am experiencing the same problem. I have a 2012 Supercrew FX4 with 29,000 miles. The Service AdvanceTrac message started appearing and , when it did, the turn signals no longer worked. The same as all of you, this occurs during low speed tight-radius turns (usually in reverse).
I took it to the dealership where I bought it and explained exactly what happened. I told them that all of my research showed that the problem does not seem to go away unless the rack is replaced. The service adviser said "we'll see about that". I later asked if he had ever seen this happen and he said no, but that his manager had and was aware of a possible TSB.
I got a call the next day saying that they reprogrammed the ABS and the truck was ready to be picked up. This time the service adviser had very little to say to me and couldn't rush me off to the cashier's office fast enough. The write up I got says:
"TSB 12 11 18 BASIC 2C219 CODE O4
VERIFIED SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC LIGHT WILL COME ON
PERFORMED SELF TEST DTC 1963 ABS CHECKED OASIS RELATED
TSB 12 11 18 AND REPROGRAM THE ABS MODULE AND TEST DROVE AFTER REPAIR NO ABS OR SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC LAMPS ON
WHEN MAKING SLOW TURNS AND TURN SIGNALS WORKING NOW
END 29415"
I am certainly hoping that this actually fixes whatever the problem is, but I feel like the light will just come on again and they are going to want to keep resetting the computer. Taking it to the dealership is not at all convenient as the soonest appointment I was able to get was 13 days out. It is a 25 minute drive and I had to beg and plead to get a loaner car out of them when they told me that my free rental car service had expired. Does anybody know of a way to get the dealership to actually fix the problem and not just the symptom?

My cheap advice is to not worry about it.
I get the warning light every time I back up and turn the wheel all the way to the right. It has happened to me multiple times in the same day. I simply straighten out the wheel. Turn the truck off. Pull out the key. Replace the key, start the truck and drive away. Light goes off until the next time I need to back out of a tight spot. Based on the experiences on this thread I would not dream of turning it over to the dealer for experimentation at my cost.

Why would you avoid having something fixed that is under warranty ??
Especially since one repair quote in the thread came in at $1500
Another person had the steering quit on them while they were driving
And multiple people report the blinker no longer stays on, have to manually hold it
Not something I would want to fix after the warranty expires

Mine is doing this too. Hill descent control fault. Service advancetrac. Then the turn signals won't stay on. The lane change works. Had it to the dealership, at first they said they "might" have to replace the steering rack, but the front end guy said since i am occasionally having shifting issues it may be in the tranny. Supposed to take it in next Thursday for them to go a little deeper.

Service Advancetrac warning light
Bringing my daughter home on a straight road I heard a loud pop/crack over her music, turn signals acted wrong and brights didn't stay on, next the traction service light came on. As soon as I could safely pull over, after checking blinker fuses, I removed the high beam fuse, # 39, and replaced it with fuse # 25. We did a full walk around to make sure all lights, blinkers etc... were ok. After replacing that one fuse, merged into traffic, left hand turn, the service advancetrac went away. Not sure if it helps, but wanted to share. 2011 F150 6.2ltr SuperCab, 65k

My Hill Descent Control light also came on when mine did this. The dealership troubleshot it and replaced the steering rack and the lights have not come back on in the last 6 weeks.

Can add me to the list also , i have 5700 miles and has come on twice . when it comes on i cannot get The ELD to lock on in 4x2 , but will come on in 4x4 hi and low gear. made a trip to the dealer and put on his computer that next time it comes on to just driver up and will check it out , he said it's a speed senser and just need to know which one it is. all is working correct right now. at least dealer wants to work on it . i just installed soundgate and had to disconnect the power from battery, i wonder if it just had to reset computer.
