I pulled the license plate holder off the front of the truck today and it just seems like a giant hole in the front waiting to eat up rocks and other debris.

Just curious if anyone has added any type of screen or anything for protection?

This is a common mod. You can find all kinds of these lower grills to match your upper grill on various sites on the net. eBay, amazon etc. you shouldn't have a problem finding one you like.

I'll jump in on this one with a question, I've obviously seen the Boost Bars and other offerings, but does anyone know of an insert which resembles the rectangular cross section of the above (and XLT "C" Clamp) grills?
