Default Has anybody serviced their seat lumbar or know how to get access to it?

So since i bought my truck the seat lumbar has squeaked and now its driving me crazy. I dont trust the dealers anymore after they fixed it like a complete hack so id rather do it myself. However has anybody messed with it or got access to it or how the dealer does it? I assume i have to remove the seat cover? If its a real pain or extensive ill find another dealer and try that but if its not too bad id rather look at it myself so i know its to my standards. Anybody?

What trim level do you have? ecoboost is NOT a trim it's an engine, XLT, FX4,Platinum, etc... are trim levels. I may be able to help.

I'll keep that in mind and subscribe to it but my bottom doesn't squeak, it's the lumbar behind my back. I can duplicate the noise standing outside the truck and pushing the back in/out with my fist. Either way thanks for the link as my bottom will prob squeak soon also.

Same problem. Dealer tried fixing and it's still there. It's really annoying so I feel your pain.

Looking thru the shop manual and it lists all different procedures for inspection and repair.

Just went though 7 pages of seat construction and my head hurts now.

Best I can tell this is the breakdown of parts and is something I would literally have to put my hands/eyes on to determine what may be the problem.

Wish I could help more but Ford's shop manuals are anything but stellar.
