Not nearly as loud as I was picturing, with there being a lid available and everyone talking about installing said lid I thought it would be annoying. It is quieter than any intake I've ever had. You can hear some kind of a thud when you get on it, I'm gonna check into that tomorrow.

Cool. I got the Magnum Force version if that makes any difference..Dual cones that look epic

AutoAnything let me down though..It said free shipping but I got an email yesterday that it was going to cost me $100 extra for shipping. Thought it was kinda ridiculous.

The stage 2 has two cone filters. Maybe it is also referred to as magnum version. I got mine Boxing Day at Mopac for 370, cheaper than I could find anywhere online by far.

If its not too late to backout of your purchase Mopac is 430 reg price, not even that bad by the time you get one shipped.

autoanything is $397 at my door. Still not so bad, but if they said it was going to be free shipping then they should stick to their word.

397 with the 100 bucks? That ain't bad. Mopac said they have one sale a year and that's it. Basically 15% off everything in the store.

If I can chime in, I found JB Power in Calgary flexible and easy to work with. I decided early on to mod the exhaust, air intake and tune. They recommended afe and Superchips. After a little research, I went back and started with the stage 2 air intake from afe leaving the other two items for a later date when I had more time. In the meantime, I happened to see that afe offered a complete package called the Striker Package that included the magna force 4" cat back exhaust, the stage 2 air intake and the scorcher tuner, all of which would save me a 150 bucks or so as a package. So then the next weekend, I went back for the tuner and the exhaust and showed JB the deal afe had on their website. While afe didn't have the package available for JB to offer, JB discounted the total package to make it more comparable with the online offer. And since Superchips makes the scorcher tuner anyway, they don't carry the scorcher brand but substituted it with Superchips Flashpaq tuner.

One word of advice for anyone planning on using the 4" magna force cat back exhaust from afe on a 2011 or 2012 f150 with a 6 1/2 foot box, do not cut the middle lead pipe by 6 " as the instructions tell you. It's unnecessary and fits into the front and rear pipes only marginally. 4 1/2 or 5" is all you need to cut off.

Why are you going catted if you don't mind me asking? That's one of the many benefits to living in the great white north, atleast I've always thought about it that way.

Stupid thread, you don't make your own payments, can't believe you guys believe this guy... Why would you get a black truck? It seems like you want your truck uglier with these mods.

(If you think I'm serious, I feel bad for you)

Nah, love the truck as usual, can't wait to see those retrofits.. Gahhhh
