Oh, ok. I see how this is...I see what you did there. jk

I have ONE headlight reflector on the way from Tuxblack11, and I only need one more! Local auto part joints are a bit scarce for 09+ trucks. Then I can finally finish those retrofits. Otherwise, they're pretty much ready to rock n roll!

Lost those orange reflectors that go in the side of the light. Went to go lightly tint them, then set them on the back of the truck, then went to work. Lost both, quite possibly the biggest PITA part to replace in the entire truck.

¡Ay caramba! I'd bust your ***** for that cockup but methinks you're already a bit tender. I would be.
Those will be a real bitch to find. Did you ask bilinvic?Maybe you'll have to suck it up and buy some knockoff headlights from eBay.
I have noticed the dearth of used parts in the area. Sucks.

I was totally pissed at first (i actually
walked down dunbow road looking for those bastards) but now I realize it was bound to happen, the project was going too smoothly for my tendency. I wouldn't even care if I found a set of cracked or absolutely annihilated headlights as long as the reflector was intact. at least I have the driver's side coming from tux..one down, one to go.

I don't want to be "that guy" that takes a sawzall to some guy's headlights for his reflector..

It's got a brown tinge to it and sterling has a blue tinge, so I don't know if it would be a close match.. worth a shot though.

Came home from Europe to find a Canada post pick-up form on my front doorknob. Went to pick up the box and found my detailing goodies!! Got a bunch of stuff for getting rid of swirls on the truck from eShine.com. Great site with tons of selection, free shipping in canada and great pricing. Thanks to all who bought an iPad dash panel from me to fund all my goodies! Here's what I got:

PC7424xp Dual action polisher
Green, orange and black pads
Chemical guys Pro-polish 3n
Chemical guys Jetseal 109
Cookie Monster v2 buffing microfiber
The Dehydrator drying towel

I also have some 845 and a clay kit in my garage ready for the whole treatment. It's going to look ridiculous with the pro-polish, 845 then the jetseal on top. Can't wait to do it!
